Iron Tide Command

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Iron Tide Command asks you to think two moves ahead. You plan routes, position ships, and commit to an attack, then watch it play out in real time. It sits somewhere between a board game and a light RTS, and that blend works surprisingly well on a small screen.

The economy layer is where I spent most of my brain power. You manage shipyards, repair costs, and crew morale, and a reckless win can leave you too weak for the next fight. The campaign map opens up slowly, which kept me curious about what was over the next horizon.

It's not the flashiest game here, and the tutorial could explain a few systems better, but the strategic depth held me for weeks.
