About
Ember Quest started as a group chat between three friends who kept arguing about which mobile RPG deserved a spot on our home screens. At some point the arguments got long enough that we figured we might as well write them down and share them. That is basically the whole origin story.,We are an independent site. Nobody hands us a schedule of what to cover, and nobody tells us what score to give. We pick games that look interesting, install them like anyone else, and play far enough to have an honest opinion. If a game is boring after two hours, we say so.,Choosing what to review is simple: we look for something with a hook. A clever progression system, a story that surprises us, a control scheme that actually fits a touchscreen. Genre does not matter much to us, which is why the catalog jumps between role-playing epics, racers, and quiet little simulators.,Everything you read here comes from real time spent with the game. We take our own screenshots, we note down the annoying parts, and we update reviews when a big patch changes things. That is the promise.
